Why do bowlers think what they do is a sport?
I asked a question earlier about Greg Lemond and a “bowler” said I didn’t understand sport like he does because he a a good competitive bowler. I am a competitive cyclist on the road, mountain and time trial, as well as triathlon. I am also a cycling and triathlon coach, so I know a little about what “sport” is about. I have also bowled and I don’t see how bowling compares to cycling as a sport. Maybe the guys is an idiot. Listen, I am not saying that bowling is not a skill…I think it is. But no way will you convince me it is a “sport.” In fact, in the list of sports on this forum, bowling isn’t even listed…hhhmmm.
